Plymouth Rock Records was started in 1995 by Mark Bryant. Our first release was a vinyl 45 recorded by “Bridge.” The song was called “3000 Miles Away” and it set the tone for what the label would become, a platform for local dedicated artists to allow their music to be available to their fans and those who would be.

The label was modeled after, and pays tribute to, some of the most famous labels of the 1970s and 80s in the Boston area, such as Ace Of Hearts and Rounder Records, whose love and dedication to local music was the heart and soul of it’s existence. Like Rounder, we have survived the drastically changing music business and 10 years later we are stronger than ever!
